The Annual Ralph Martin Canoe For The Cure

WE ARE HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE THAT ON SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 16TH 2018, WE WILL KICK OFF THE 6TH ANNUAL RALPH MARTIN CANOE FOR THE CURE. THIS WILL BE A FUNDRAISING EVENT BENEFITING THE BE THE MATCH FOUNDATION. TO MAKE THIS EVENT A SUCCESS, WE WILL NEED A LITTLE HELP FROM OUR FRIENDS:)    

NEW TIME!                                                                                                                                      For various logistical reasons the Pot Luck/Raffle/Party will be from 3-6:30 on 09/16.

Canoers/Kayakers: Please try to arrive by 11:30-Noon if you want to do the 6-mile trip.                                                                                                   Arrive between 1-1:30 for the 2 mile trip. You can always arrive sooner if you want to take your time on the river, the times above will get you done around 3PM if you don't make any stops.

please let me know in advance how many of you are joining us on the water so I can reserve our canoes! The cost is $24 per person canoeing and $24 per kayak. (Children may ride in the center of the canoe for no charge but must be at least 4 years old and 40lbs.)

-Lunch and raffle will begin at 3 p.m. Non-alcoholic beverages will be provided. Please feel free to bring a side dish or dessert and BYOB! Admission without canoeing is $10 includes 6 raffle tickets and 1 gourmet hot dog or 2 regular hot dogs from U Lucky Dawg Food Truck

-Pre-Sale Tickets: Send Payment via Venmo to @CanoeForTheCure or via PayPal to CanoeForTheCure@gmail.com. Please add to the notes/comments:
1. Number of Canoe/Kayaks you will be reserving 
2. The number of adults/children you are paying for.
For Example: $72 ($24x3 Paying Adults) 
Comment : 1 Canoe (2 Adults/1 child) & 1 Kayak (1 Adult)

-BE THE match sign up!  WE WILL ALSO HAVE KITS AVAILABLE FOR THOSE THAT WOULD WANT TO BE TESTED TO BE A BE THE MATCH BONE MARROW DONOR. A SIMPLE MOUTH SWAB IS ALL IT TAKES. SINCE OUR EVENT STARTED WE HAVE HAD 20 VOLUNTEERS. LET'S SEE HOW MANY FOLKS THIS YEAR TAKE ADVANTAGE OF A CHANCE TO POTENTIALLY SAVE A LIFE!

Let's hope for a beautiful day September 16th . Bring a lawn chair! Did you know canoeing is optional? About half the people that attend our event come to our potluck, and enjoy wonderful live music. Along with face painting, over $3600 in raffle prizes, split the pot, butterfly release and great company you don't want to miss this event!
