Ralph Martin

Jan 21, 1952 - Aug 19, 2012

AS YOU ALL KNOW, IN 2012 OUR DAD, RALPH MARTIN, FOUGHT HIS BATTLE WITH ESOPHAGEAL CANCER. WE WOULD LIKE TO CARRY THE TORCH IN HONOR OF HIS MEMORY AND CONTINUE FIGHTING THE GOOD FIGHT FOR THE MANY PEOPLE THAT ARE STILL BATTLING THIS DISEASE AND OTHER CANCERS. IF THE FUNDS WE RAISE THROUGH THIS EVENT CAN HELP JUST ONE PERSON THEN THAT WOULD BE A VICTORY FOR US. WE ARE REACHING OUT TO ALL OF YOU TO HELP US BY BECOMING A SPONSOR OF OUR TEAM AND/OR BY COMING OUT TO CANOE WITH US. PLEASE INVITE ANYONE YOU THINK MAY BE INTERESTED IN DONATING OR PARTICIPATING IN THIS EVENT.

" Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond's glint on snow,

I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn's rain.

When you awaken in the morning's hush, I am the swift uplifting rush,

Of quiet birds in circled flight, I am the soft stars that shine at night.

Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there, I did not die."
